Albemarle EMC apprentice linemen Waylon Davenport and Owen White recently delivered Christmas toys to P.W. Moore Elementary School, in Elizabeth City. Toys for more than 500 children were delivered to schools throughout the co-op's service area. School coordinators will then deliver the toys to families they have identified as in need of help.

Not pictured are AEMC employees Bridget Sawyer and Heather Ashley, who purchased and bagged the toys. For the past 20 years, Albemarle EMC has conducted the Light Up Christmas toy drive. Most of the funds raised comes from a charity golf tournament held in the spring.
