Scam Alert! A member notified us that they received a call from an unknown number. The caller claimed to be their power company and threatened to disconnect the member if they didn't pay within 30 minutes.

Please note that all numbers that come from Albemarle EMC will be from 252-426-5735. Any other number did not originate from your cooperative.

Any suspicious phone calls should be reported to the authorities.
